Week Three

This   week  i had taugh week . i had to fininsh so many things in school beside the requiremnts of the course but i could manage it . It was really nice to share  websites as resources of teaching  pronunciation . All the participants in the course were struggling to find something new and share with others.

We also had a chance to go through  some of the project  reports and analyse them . This was a helpful task . I think that Robert had planned this in order to give us a clear idea about how the report should look like and  help us to be aware of what might face us when we want to  do our projects.

The last thing was  to open an account in delicious.com and start sharing links there. This would be a very useful tools for us and for our students 

Week Two summary

This week was really a wonderful week in which we had to investigate our own practice. We had to go through many things related to our schools, students, courses, objectives and the technology facilities that we have in our schools.

I started by reading about the different search engines that are available in the internet and I have asked my friends about the search engines that they use when they want to look for anything.  Then I logged into the website recommended by Mr. Robert and explored some of the search engines presented there.

After that I had a chance to explore what my colleagues have posted in the forum and their opinions about different search engines. It was really a good chance to know about what is going on in the internet and why people / educators prefer this but this this. Everyone has his own reasons and justification.

I liked what some of our colleagues have said that they use Google most of the time and they are satisfied the results they get. Therefore, I can say that having a purpose of our search plays an important role in the whole process. Some are looking for a certain thing and it doesn't matter for them what search engine they should use . What does matter is the result they get and whether it fulfills their needs or not.  

Moving on with the requirements of the course for this week I had to read ABCD model for writing objectives. I was really a nice experience to know about such model. I enjoyed reading what my colleagues have written and the comments they post for each other.

Week Two

It seems that this is our chance to discover different search engines and explores their advantages and disavantages.

There is one section called ( Research tool) and I think it will be a good chance to for you to try out one or more of these tools.

Hello Everybody

It seems  that everyone has started blogging and Mr.Robert is waiting to see the creativity of the particpants. Actually , this is not my first blog as I already have had some blogs for other courses. Unfortunately I  don't keep blogging in the blogs because i'm so busy with other things and I hope that I have enough time after the course to continue post things in this blog.

We are about to finish the first week  of the course and i'm sure that all particpants are ready to show what they have as well as to learn new things related to using technology into classroom.
